2010 Latvian Grand Music Award - Concerto for violin and orchestra

The Grand Music Award was established in 1993 by initiative from 
composer and then culture minister, Raimonds Pauls. 
At a glittering presentation ceremony March 2, 2010 
in the National Opera House, the Latvian Grand Music Awards for 
2009 were presented.
Ilona Breģe's "Violin Concerto" was named Best New Work of 
the Year (premiere, Great Guild Hall, January 17) in Latvia.  
Violinist Baiba Skride was selected for Outstanding Interpretation
 in composer Ilona Breģe's "Violin Concerto" and 
Alban Berg's "Violin Concerto".

2009 Prize "Baltais zvirbulis" by the Riga City Council for management of the RIGA Professional Symphonic Band in 2008.

2007 nomination for the Latvian Grand Music Award - Symphony No. 2

1997 Latvian Music Fund Dziesmuvara organized choir song competition - awarded arrangement of the Latvian folk song Velc, pelīte, saldu miegu (Bring, Little Mouse, Sweet Sleep)

1995 Spīdolas stipendija (Spīdolas Scholarship) by Latvian Cultural Fund for the book Teātris senajā Rīgā (Theatre in Old Riga)

 1980 the Latvian Republic Pianist Contest - 3rd Prize Winner.
