| The
(Latvian ) Association of Ceramic Artists “Logs” (The
Window), established in 1977 as a society of creative
artists, evolved from the artists’ studio “Logs”.
“Logs” currently consists of twelve ceramists and
sculptors, but new members are now being admitted.
Symposiums and various exhibitions are among the events
organized in Latvia and abroad. Many members are
recipients of diplomas, awards and medals at
international competitions; their works are featured in
museums and private collections both local and foreign. The 1st International Symposium of Ceramic Plastics was held in 1977 in order to further the association’s development.
