Anna Katrīna Paukšēna

 

Anna Katrīna PaukšenaAnna Katrīna Paukšēna was born on the 6th of May, 2001 in Riga. Since 2007, she has been learning to play cello at Emīls Dārziņš’ Secondary Music School. From 2010 to 2017 her teacher of cello was  Romāns Trautmans. Since September 2017, Anna’s teacher has been Professor Eleonora Testeļeca. Accompanist - Lelde Paula.

 

Participation in musical competitions:

2009Diploma – 1st place in the musical competition of young violinists and cellists in Riga, the Art and Music School of Bolderāja, dedicated to Latvian music.

2012Diploma – 2nd place in the musical competition of young violinists and cellists „Italian Old Masters to the Youth” in Riga, the Art and Music School of Bolderāja. 

2013Diploma - 2nd place in the 21st International  Competition of Young Musicians „Sigulda 2013”.

2014Diploma – 1st place in the Professional Direction and Secondary Musical Education National competition „ Playing of the Strings” , Round 2 at Emīls Dārziņš’ Secondary Music School in the speciality of cello. Promoted to  Round 3.

2014Diploma – 2nd place in the Latvian Professional Direction and Professional Secondary Education Programme „ Playing of the Strings” students’ National Competition finale. 

2014Diploma – 2nd place in the international musical competition  “Renaissance” (Klaipeda,Lithuania) and special prize for the best interpretation of the Baltic contemporary music.

2015Diploma – 1st place in the 22nd international competition of young musicians „Sigulda 2015”.

2016Diploma – 3rd place in K. Davidovs’ 9th International Cello Competition in Kuldīga, Latvia. 

2017Diploma in the International Baltic Competition of Young Musicians  in 2017 in Riga.

2017 Diploma 3rd place in the International Klaipeda Cellists’ Competition in Klaipeda, Lithuania.

2017Diploma in Augusts Dombrovskis’ 9th International Young Musicians’  Competition for violinists, viola players and cellists; 

2018 Diploma 1st place in the Latvian Professional direction and Professional secondary musical education programme group Play of the strings (violin, viola, cello, contrabass) students’ National musical competition finale,in the 5th group.

2012Participation in the children and youth International Summer Academy in Frankenfels (Austria), Yury Bashmet’s (Russia) orchestra of children and youth and cello master classes with teacher Aleksander Buzlov (Russia).

2013Participation in the children and youth International Summer Academy in Frankenfels (Austria),Yury Bashmet’s (Russia) orchestra of children and youth and cello master classes with the teacher Tian Bonian (Germany).

2013Participation in Salacgrīva Classical  Music Festival master classes       (cello) with teacher Ivars Bezprozvanovs (Latvia).
