Sabine Devieilhe

After having studied cello and musicology, Sabine Devieilhe completes her education at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse studying singing with Pierre Mervant as from 2007.
In 2006, she is the Winner of the Tremplin Jeunes Talents in Auray (Brittany) directed by Jean-Michel Fournereau, in a cabaret duett and in November 2009, she is the Winner of the Nantes  S'sentiels’ Competition.
 
As a Member of several Ensembles (Les Cris de Paris cond. Geoffroy Jourdain ; Mélisme(s) cond.  Gildas Pungier and Pygmalion, cond. Raphaël Pichon), as well as the Rennes opéra Choirs from 2004 to 2007, she performs under the direction of Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Jérome Corréas, Serge Baudo, Claude Schnitzler, Régine Théodoresco.
 
In April 2009, Sabine Devieilhe performed Lucia / LE VIOL DE LUCRÈCE in the production by Emmanuelle Cordoliani at the Paris CNSM and the following summer she is Lauretta / GIANNI SCHICCHI at the Not'en bulles festival staged by Jean-Michel Fournereau as well as Yniold / PELLEAS ET MELISANDE in the production staged by Vincent Vittoz and conducted by Anne Le Bozec at the Festival Messiaen.
 
During the Summer 2010, she is invited to perform Rameau pieces with Ensembles like Arte dei Suonatori and the Holland Baroque Society under Alexis Kossenko at the Brugge & Utrecht Festivals, as well as  Scottish songs by Beethoven opposite Alain Buet with  L'Armée des Romantiques at the Klara Festival in Brussels.
 
In 2010-11 she participates to the revival of Lauretta / GIANNI SCHICCHI at the Amphithéâtre of Paris Bastille  Opera; performs in concerts under the direction of Jean-Claude Malgoire  and sings L’ENFANT ET LES SORTILÈGES with the ONDIF under David Levi, a piece she will repeats in the Summer 2011 in a new collaboration with Anne le Bozec and Vincent Vittoz. She is invited to participate to Barbara Bonney’s Masterclass in Paris and for a Mozart concert in Nîmes. With the Ensemble Pygmalion and Raphaël Pichon she performs Bach La Passion selon St-Jean on tour and DARDANUS at the Beaune International Baroque Music Festival.
 
Among her projects : Scarlatti-concerts with the B’Rock Barockorkest,  Bach Cantatas with the Holland Symfonia, Blow/Charpentier concerts with Les Arts Florissants. In July 2012, she will make her debuts at the Aix-en-Provence Festival as Serpetta / LA FINTA GIARDINIERA (staged by Vincent Boussard). Jean-Claude Malgoireinvites her for LA SONNAMBULA and PLATEE.
