AVE SOL has presented and drawn attention to the art of Latvian choral singing during concert tours and festivals throughout the world, often gaining top honours in international competitions: in Austria (Spital an der Drau), Spain (Tolosa), Germany (Marktoberdorf), Hungary (Debrecen), Italy (Areco) and Estonia (Tallinn). 

The choir has given performances all over Europe, as well as the USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and Singapore. 

With demonstration concerts and masterclasses AVE SOL has taken part in IFCM Symposia in Espoo (Finland) in 1990, Oregon (USA) in 1991, Namur (Belgium) in 1992 and Rotterdam (Netherlands) in 1999. 

Since 1989 AVE SOL has been the leading choir at the notable International Chamber Choir Festival RĪGA DIMD. Organized jointly by the Riga City Council Department of Culture and AVE SOL, this festival takes place every two years with concerts in Riga and throughout Latvia.
