Latvian ethnomusicology has existed as a sum total of positive,
serious personal efforts, and even after the restoration of independant
state no institutionalized ethnomusicological research and educational
centre has developed. Therefore this web page can be considered as
THE ONLY ONE EXISTING INSTITUTION PER SE
(though in the virtual reality) OF THE LATVIAN ETHNOMUSICOLOGY.
