About the artists
Krisjanis Norvelis is a graduate of the Latvian Academy of Music, Riga Latvia. He continued his studies in Vienna Austria where he also won an international contest awarding him a scholarship to study at the Vienna Opera. He has been a soloist at the Latvian National Opera since 1997.
Andzelle Kirse is a graduate of the Latvian Musical Academy of in Riga, Latvia. She is the winner of several prestigious vocal contests in Latvia. She has been a Latvian National Opera soloist since 1998 making her debute as Tatiana in Tchaikosky’s “Eugene Onegin”.
Anna Rozdestvenska is a graduate of the Latvian Acadamy of Music in Riga, where she studied piano under prof. Anna Klas. For the past 30 years she has been a vocalist concertmeister at the Latvian Acadamy of Music where she has distinguished herself as best concertmeister at several competitions. She is considered an outstanding interpreter of Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and other Russian composers. At the present time Anna Rozdestvenska is a valued concertmeister at the Acadamy as well as at the Latvian National Opera.
